# Tickets

A ticket is required in order to be eligible for the prizepool draws. Users earn tickets by accumulating points earned through the purchase, staking, and burning of HYPER.

Tickets NEVER expire. As long as you own enough points to hold your tickets, you will be entered into every single draw, forever. \

Tickets are acquired and tracked *automatically* as a user accrues points. 

*For example:*

* If you *buy* 100 $HYPER tokens and are *credited* 100 points for your purchase. You now have 1 (one) ticket entered into the draw.
* If you then *buy* 50 more $HYPER tokens and are *credited* 50 points for your purchase. You now have a *total* of 150 points, which is still counted as 1 (one) ticket.
* If you *buy* another 50 $HYPER tokens and are credited a further 50 points, this will bring your *total* to 200 points. This will grant you a *second* ticket into the draw for a total of 2 (two) tickets.
